FireEye, Inc. Launches Partner Program, Delivering Network Access Control to New Markets, Customers

MENLO PARK, Calif., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- FireEye, Inc., a pioneer in Network Access Control (NAC) technology, today launched the FireEye Firepower Partner Program which enables its authorized reseller partners to expand their network security offerings and fulfill customer demand for a cost-effective NAC solution. The launch of the Firepower Partner Program establishes the company's commitment to focus sales efforts through the channel. The FireEye Firepower Partner Program is designed to leverage strong security channel expertise to build a successful business.

The Firepower Partner Program's deal registration component ensures that authorized partners are appropriately rewarded for their efforts in selling FireEye products. Deal registration provides financial incentives to partners for the time and pre-sales investment associated with building viable sales opportunities. The incentive is available to the authorized channel partner who is first to register an approved sales opportunity. Authorized resellers receive discounts on FireEye products, ensuring higher margins. The program also features recurring renewals that occur through the reseller, ensuring that partners have consistent, predictable revenue.

"The Firepower Partner Program is great in that it is designed to support our mutual success," said Martin Vargas with aXcelerate, a reseller providing clients with network security solutions to meet regulatory requirements, and one of the premier resellers to join the Firepower Partner Program. "We are thrilled to offer FireEye's NAC solution as part of our portfolio; the FireEye 4200 is a great product that is easy to manage, one-fifth the cost of other NAC solutions, and adds great value to our company overall."

Corsa Network Technologies, Inc., a well-established security systems integrator for the corporate market, is another new addition to the FireEye Partner Program. After learning that FireEye offers the industry's first internal network security solution leveraging patent-pending virtualization technology, Corsa Network Technologies was so impressed, they decided to join the FireEye Partner Program, turning down competitive products.

"Given our focus on only adding the best-in-breed network security solutions to our arsenal, a mutual partnership with FireEye was a natural fit for us," said Aubrey Brown, president and CEO of Corsa Network Technologies. "After careful consideration of other security vendors, we found that FireEye's internal network security solution was simply the best technology available on the market today to meet our customers' security needs."

FireEye NAC technology not only allows resellers to increase market penetration and increase their customer base, but it also helps them with current customers by addressing demand for an effective, reliable and cost- effective network access control solution.

"FireEye is committed to driving channel success by establishing reseller relationships as an integral part of early business development. We are building a network of best-in-class resellers, who are focused on bringing innovative technologies to their customers and have deep value added practice in the network security space," said Tushar Kothari of Pacific Technology Partners, LLC, who is consulting with FireEye to create a channel-centric go to market model. "I'm excited about FireEye's commitment to the channel and the mutual opportunities that FireEye and its partners bring to the NAC market." Pacific Technology Partners, LLC is a consulting firm engaged in advising high technology companies on go to market strategies.
