Fenner Precision Invests in Growth


- Additional production capacity and jobs added to Buffalo location -

Manheim, PA - Fenner Precision, a developer and manufacturer of custom belts, pulleys and rollers for paper propulsion, motion control and power transmission applications, has invested $950,000 in upgrades and new equipment in their Buffalo, New York location, formerly Winfield Industries. The additional equipment will increase production by 40% and will add approximately 10 new jobs.

"This investment is in response to increasing customer product demand and supporting those production needs," said Jeff Oak, VP and General Manager at Fenner Precision in Buffalo. "Our customer service is based on a commitment to continuous improvement; both our customers' and ours."

The primary focus of the Fenner Precision Buffalo location is custom formulating and molding of polyurethane and silicone products specializing in unique electrically conductive materials for the digital printing and medical imaging markets. Fenner Precision purchased Winfield Industries in March 2008. Since the acquisition, Fenner Precision has added 10 jobs; currently employing 140 in the Buffalo area.

The improvements and equipment installations are scheduled to be completed by February 2009.
