Fastenal Company Names Eaton Best In Class Supplier

CLEVELAND... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) was named Best-in-Class Supplier for 2005 by Fastenal Company of Winona, Minn., at its Annual National Product Show in Orlando, Fla. Eaton earned this award in the hydraulics and power transmission product group, which includes products offered by more than 40 manufacturers.

Each year, representatives at Fastenal stores in the U.S., Canada and Mexico vote on the Best-in-Class Supplier in each of Fastenal's 12 product groups by judging supplier performance in four categories: customer service, on-time delivery, sales support and training.

Accepting the award on Eaton's behalf were Travis DeBoer, corporate account manager-Fastenal; Rick Hiltunen, program distribution sales manager; and Paul David, North American distribution manager.

"Eaton Hydraulics appreciates being recognized as one of Fastenal's top suppliers, as it's a credit to both companies working very closely together to provide mutual benefit," stated Hiltunen.

Fastenal has been selling Eaton's, Boston, Everflex and Weatherhead fluid conveyance products since 1992.
