F.E. Moran Earns Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) Safety Award


Northbrook, IL – F.E. Moran earned the Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA) Safety Award for 2013 in the 100,001-250,000 work hours category.



The Mechanical Contractors Association has developed the award to encourage and reward safety excellence in the heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, piping, and mechanical services industry. Five categories are included in this award: 100,000 work hours or less; 100,001-250,000 work hours; 250,001-400,000 work hours; 400,001-1,000,000 work hours; and 1,000,000+ work hours. Award recipients are chosen based on their earned safety statistics, that must be better than the industry average and a written application that details their safety program and innovative initiatives to achieve a high degree of safety excellence.



The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) serves the needs of 2,500 firms in the HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services industries. They provide their members with educational programs to assist them in reaching the highest levels of managerial and technical capability.
