"SPE conferences bring a perfect mix of technical innovations and networking. Since great ideas are often generated at the converging point of knowledge and encounters, this conference is 'a must' for everyone who has an interest in additives and colours for plastics.” states Wim De Vos, SPE’s global CEO.

Alex Capuz, Chairman of the SPE’s Additives&Color Europe Division, adds: “The presence of key industry leaders from different positions in the Plastics value chain will make the Barcelona conference become a connecting place for delegates and speakers to create new value for the entire industry.”

The event will take place in Meliá Sky Hotel, in Barcelona’s innovative “Distrito 22@”. It will start on Monday 23th February, 2 pm and will end up on Wednesday 25th February, 2 pm.

A pre-conference seminar on “Fundamentals on Additives & Color Technology for Plastics” will be organized on Monday morning (9 am-1 pm) too. This separate seminar can be attended as a stand-alone basic training and is available for conference attendees at a discounted rate. “We do believe the seminar is a great fit in the SPE’s objective to spread knowledge on key technical topics. We expect local industry people to attend it, since it is a very valuable review on the basics of additives and color in plastics” states Alex Capuz.
