FREMONT, California – ETS, the Silicon Valley-based designer and manufacturer of baluns, balun panels, and related audio/video devices, has announced a coming price increase on some of its product lines.
Company CEO Trudy Andresen stated that, "Like any company, price increases to our many loyal and valued ETS customers are never welcome. Given the current and ongoing increase in the costs of metals in particular, we've had to carefully review the bill of materials in our production process, and have found it necessary to announce the rise, effective the first of the new year."
"As a small woman-owned business manufacturing American-made products in our Silicon Valley location for more than three decades, we are sensitive to materials costs, and always strive to produce dependable products at a fair price. We have tried to hold the line on cost increases, in many cases for a number of years now, but a recent analysis has forced us to institute price increases on specific products in our corporate line card of more than 400 devices."
She noted that the coming increases are modest and not across-the-board; only some products are affected. As a sincere thanks to customers, any Purchase Orders submitted by the 15th of January 2016 will be fulfilled at current rates.
She said, "Of course, we'd like to wish a healthy and prosperous New Year to the loyal and enthusiastic customers who've been so supportive in the past. We intend to maintain our reputation for being highly responsive to customers' needs."
This past year has seen increased sales to our international customers and our theater products sales have been brisk, as well. We're thankful for the response and look forward to another successful year serving the needs of our customers."
