ETCO Innovates again by Customizing GBBA and FAE to Plug into PCB Boards

Bradenton, FL -- In order to solve a challenge for a manufacturer of smart power outlets, ETCO came up with a novel idea. Remove the ear sections on ETCO GBBA and FAE and replace them with pins that plug directly into a PCB board.

They are then soldered in place. The ETCO GBBA plugs into the wall socket and consumers plug their devices into the FAE on the other side of the device. The power is transferred through the PCB board while other components specific to data on the PCB board allow consumers to control their devices remotely.

The applications for this idea are far-ranging for manufacturers of smart outlets, battery chargers, medical devices and extension cords, among others.
