Better Proximity with Silicon Valley Customers
San Jose, CA - August 31, 2005 - ERNI, a leader in connectivity solutions, has opened a service and sales office in San Jose, California. "The new office, with an applications engineer and three direct sales people, ensures excellent responsiveness for ERNI's Silicon Valley and western-region customers," said Wendy Wuerth-Griggs, Vice President Sales and Marketing for ERNI Electronics.
ERNI's San Jose office is its latest investment in serving the North American market. Its US corporate headquarters are located in Midlothian, Virginia.
In the wake of impressive sales gains
ERNI has seen a significant increase in sales in 2005. It's Q2, 2005 sales were up over 10 percent from the same period in 2004; and July, 2005 sales surged 24 percent over July 2004. "A large proportion of our sales increases are being fueled by demand for our ERmet 2 mm and ERmet ZD High-Speed backplane connectors. We are also seeing a lot of demand for our 1.27 mm pitch SMC connectors," Ms. Wuerth revealed.
