EPSON's Stylus Pro Range of Printers to be Highlight of its Participation in Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2007

EPSON Middle East together with their distributors, Almoe Digital Solutions is showcasing EPSON's Stylus Pro range of wide-format printers at the Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2007, the region's only specialised signage, graphic imaging and screen printing show that began today (Tuesday, February 27, 2007), at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. EPSON's Stylus Pro printers incorporate forward-thinking designs with a breakthrough 8-color ink technology to offer a final print of uncompromising quality.

The line-up of EPSON products on exhibition includes the Stylus Pro 3800, Stylus Pro 7800 and the Stylus Pro 9800. These printers use the UltraChrome K3 ink technology, EPSON's newest-generation of pigment ink that incorporates eight new color pigments, including a new three-level black technology, dramatically raising the bar for professional color and black and white prints. These three printers are primarily targeted at the photography market - users who want to take high quality prints of photographs.

Another highlight for EPSON at the Sign and Graphics show will be the launch of it's A3+ and A2 Enhanced Matte Poster Board sheets ideal for storefront graphics and point of purchase (POP) displays. With this, photographers, artists' agencies and POP print shops have the benefit of a flat matte surface combined with the rigidity of a mounted print at 1.3mm thickness. Developed exclusively to work in conjunction with EPSON UltraChrome K3 printers, it produces non-gloss images with high-colour gamut, excellent highlight and shadow detail.

Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, EPSON Middle East, said, "This is the ninth consecutive year EPSON is participating in the Sign and Graphics Imaging Middle East show. As the only signage show for the entire Middle East region, the event attracts an audience of senior executives, international traders and industry leaders, and serves as an important platform for product dissemination. From a business perspective, the show has proved very fruitful to EPSON in the past as we usually achieve around 15 to 20 per cent increase in sales during the event. Moreover, the event presents numerous opportunities to network, establish contacts and liaise with the public."

At the Sign & Graphics exhibition, EPSON will also showcase the 7400 and 9400 printers that are targeted at the CAD/GIS (Computer Aided Design/Geographical Information Systems) and POS printing market - offering the ultimate in image quality, productivity and media flexibility. The new range features a number of options to meet the varied demands of professionals in the imaging business, including the ability to print any size on a wide range of media including photo, art and proofing media.

Featuring cutting edge technologies, the range utilises EPSON's innovative Micro Piezo print head technology, enabling the control of ink quantity, in addition to EPSON's Variable Sized Droplet Technology, which automatically adjusts the size of the droplet according to the image content.
