Environmental Data Resources Inc. (EDR) Offering Intelligence on Strongest Due Diligence Opportunities

MILFORD, Conn., Sept. 9 -- Environmental Data Resources Inc. (EDR) announced today that its popular Due Diligence at Dawn (DDD) series for property due diligence professionals will be held in 11 cities nationwide this fall. Now in its 16th year, DDD is a half-day seminar dedicated to keeping environmental consultants up-to-speed on the latest business opportunities and technical topics relating to environmental due diligence for commercial real estate (CRE).

"EDR's DDD series has a proven track record as the 'go-to' event for anyone involved in property due diligence," said EDR VP Jon Walker. "In today's tough market, environmental professionals need to proactively identify new opportunities to grow their business. The agenda for this fall's event is geared entirely toward helping our clients position themselves for expansion and get a leg up on the competition in the process."

DDD's Fall 2010 agenda focuses on trends in the commercial real estate market and which segments of the property due diligence market are driving the strongest activity. Topics this fall also include the new ASTM standard for screening properties for vapor encroachment risk due to subsurface hazardous substances, as well as the emerging specialty of building energy performance assessment (BEPA), a sector targeted by a number of leading due diligence firms.

Each DDD seminar is a morning event that includes presentations by industry leaders Anthony Buonicore, president of the Buonicore Group, and Dianne Crocker, managing director of EDR's market research group. An environmental attorney guest speaker will also be on-site at each city to share firsthand experience into local CRE deals affected by vapor intrusion. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The registration cost is $195 per seat.

Recommended to attend are environmental consultants and engineers, commercial real estate lenders, corporate managers and attorneys involved in property due diligence for commercial property transactions.

DDD will be presented in the following cities this fall: Seattle (Oct. 5), Oakland (Oct. 6), Irvine CA (Oct. 7), Chicago (Oct. 26), Houston (Oct. 27), Dallas (Oct. 28), Charlotte (Nov. 9), Atlanta (Nov. 10), Orlando (Nov. 11), Boston (Dec. 1), and Edison NJ (Dec. 8).
