Ensinger Consolidates Cast Nylon Production into One Facility for Improved Customer Service and Product Quality

Ensinger Inc. recently consolidated manufacturing of its Cast Nylon product line into its Grenloch, NJ facility. The consolidation included upgrades in production equipment and improved processes that increased efficiencies, reduced costs, and improved quality and services for customers. The new Cast Nylon facility was audited to ensure that Ensinger’s Cast Nylon quality system also meets the requirements for ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Since 1981, Ensinger has been casting TECAST® Cast Nylon in the US. Ensinger offers a wide range of Standard, Bearing, and Premium Grade Cast Nylon products in a variety of stock, near-net, and custom shapes and parts. These products, which include disks and rings, are offered in a size range that is beyond the capabilities of other cast nylon manufacturers. Ensinger Custom Cast Nylon products are found in many industrial environments. TECAST stock shapes are used widely in the construction industry, replacing metal sheaves and boom pads as well as conveyor parts, and parts for filling equipment in the food processing industry. TECAST also has potential for applications in emerging markets such as wind energy for large diameter gears, bearings, and slide pads. Ensinger is also a leading supplier of cast nylon sprockets, stub shafts, slack adjusters, static sleeve bearings, wear shoes for the waste and water treatment industry.
