The HARTING Technology Group strengthens its management team
Espelkamp, 01.09.2010 --- As of September 1, 2010 Dipl.-Kfm. Edgar-Peter Düning will join the management of the companies HARTING Electric GmbH & Co. KG and HARTING Electronics GmbH & Co. KG. Switching from the management of the subsidiary HARTING Deutschland to Group headquarters in Espelkamp, he will be supporting the further successful development of Connectivity & Networks - the largest business operating area. Under the heading of Connectivity & Networks, HARTING develops solutions for the networking and supply of machines, facilities and systems with data, signals and power in the segments of installation technology, device connectivity und Automation IT.
Edgar-Peter Düning has been active at the HARTING Technology Group since 1995. His career development documents the successful in-house promotion of junior staff at the Espelkamp based, family owned and managed company. Mr. Düning has been with HARTING Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG since 2001 and joined the management team in 2004, heading the finances and administration, customer service and value added business areas. In his new position, Mr. Düning will be responsible for the financing and controlling and human resources areas in both companies, and will head the worldwide value added business activities from Espelkamp.
In the Value Added Business area the HARTING Technology Group - as a system provider - meets specific requirements in close cooperation with its worldwide customers. Based on the extensive Connectivity & Networks product portfolio, individual customer solutions with new functionalities are developed and extended service offerings provided. Across various sectors and industries this business operating area within the HARTING Technology Group has developed very well.
