Engineering Information Utilizes Access Innovations Software to Create 5th Edition of Ei Thesaurus(R)
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., May 7 -- Access Innovations, Inc. (Access), a leader in the data management industry, announced that the 5th Edition of Engineering Information's Ei Thesaurus has been completed using Access's Thesaurus Master tool.
Engineering Information (Ei) contracted with Access to use Thesaurus Master to update the Ei Thesaurus, a controlled vocabulary system comprising over 19,000 terms used to classify Ei's Compendex® database. Ei's thesaurus update was simplified and facilitated through the versatility and flexibility of Thesaurus Master.
Thesaurus Master's powerful software allows users to construct a thesaurus using the term as the key building block. Thesaurus Master expedites the search process by permitting the users to maneuver through a term list hierarchy, employ several ways to relate terms to one another, and add notes to each term. Combining with other components within Access's Data Harmony software suite, Thesaurus Master also is available in stand-alone mode.
