Emhart Glass Relocates UK Office to Manchester

Cham, Switzerland - Emhart Glass has relocated its UK office to Manchester. The company's Doncaster office was closed in December 2007. The Manchester office, situated in Trafford Park, is located centrally in relation to the Emhart Glass UK customer base.

With the completion of the acquisition of ICS Inex and the formation of the Emhart Inex business unit, Emhart Glass terminated the agency agreement of ICS Inex's UK agent, Inex Inspection Systems Ltd (IISL). The termination of the agency agreement enables Emhart Inex to pursue the sales and service of the former Inex product business directly in territories previously handled by IISL.

All of the members of the IISL staff, including previous owners Michael Curry and David Bragg, as well as technical service and office support personnel, have joined Emhart Glass and will support the company's Emhart Inex business unit and product portfolio. Mr. Curry will act as Managing Director of Emhart Glass Ltd and Site Manager of the new Emhart Glass Manchester office.

"This move is intended to streamline our UK operations to better handle the business needs of today," Joseph F. Laundry, vice president cold end, said in announcing the opening of the Manchester office. "The transition of IISL's business and staff to Emhart Glass is another step in advancing the capabilities of Emhart Glass, making us even stronger in our support of the glass container manufacturing industry."

More detailed information about the new Manchester office, including the full address, telephone and fax numbers, and driving directions, can be found on the Emhart Glass website (emhartglass.com).
