Elliott Names Regional Director for Global Service in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA)
Jeannette, PA , September 8, 2009 - Elliott Company, a world leader in the turbomachinery industry, has appointed John Hanigan as Regional Director for its Global Service business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMA). In his new role, Hanigan will assume responsibility for all Global Service operations in the EMA region encompassing repair facilities, field service, service parts and sales.
Hanigan will report directly to Robert W. Steinberg, Vice President of Global Service. "We are very pleased that John has accepted this position," said Steinberg. "The international experience that he brings from a global manufacturing, sales and service perspective will complement the strengths of our existing team and serve us well as a service organization. Under his leadership, the EMA organization is well positioned to meet our strategic growth initiative for the region."
Hanigan joined Elliott in 2008 as Director of Operations for Engineered Products. Prior to his current position, he spent 30 years at Dresser-Rand in a series of significant management and executive assignments including Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific, Vice President of the Turbomachinery Products Division and Vice President of Manufacturing. He earned a bachelor of arts in management sciences from St. Bonaventure University and has also completed the Executive General Managers program at the University of Michigan.
