FORT WORTH, Texas -

On September 19-21, Elbit Systems of America, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., will showcase its innovative capabilities for the United States Air Force at the Air Force Association Air, Space, Cyber Conference at National Harbor, MD. A trusted partner, Elbit Systems of America has been delivering cutting-edge technologies to the USAF Airmen for more than twenty years.

"As the USAF celebrates its sixty-ninth birthday, we are reminded of the important role they have in providing national security for our nation," commented Raanan Horowitz, president and chief executive officer, Elbit Systems of America. "We are proud to support the United States Air Force as a full spectrum partner for their mission success. It is our continued commitment to the pilots, crews, and their families to provide technically advanced solutions that will protect the warfighter during their critical missions and allow them to return home safely."

Elbit Systems of America, a global partner in delivering airpower capabilities that ensure freedom, will showcase an array of technologies that support the U.S. Air Force. Some of the products on display include solutions from the RCEVS joint venture, the F-35 helmet, the Digital Eye Piece (DEP) enabling Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) night vision cueing and display capability, as well as an IR-based Missile Warning System that helps pilots identify, avoid, and counter dangerous threats, and precision seekers that can precisely eliminate threats all together.

The Digital Eye Piece for the JHMCS

Elbit Systems of America is advancing day cueing technology with the DEP, a light weight night vision cueing and display solution for the JHMCS. This next-gen solution brings daytime cueing and display capabilities into night operations without the need for costly upgrades, modifications or any changes to the aircraft. With the DEP, pilots are now able to transition easily from day to night operations while in flight, providing the advantage of helmet mounted cueing and display capability around the clock.

Protection in the skies - know the threat before it is one

The cost-effective IR-based Missile Warning System for all aircraft, including fighter jets, PAWS-US provides protection for pilots during constantly changing combat environments. Based on combat-proven technology, the system allows for early threat detection and warning as well as enhanced situation awareness, allowing pilots to focus on their mission, not the threat. The PAWS-US IR sensors when enhanced with Elbit Systems of America's IR-Centric capabilities, can turn missile defense systems into a targeting quality, sensor to shooter, offensive solutions.

Precision Guidance Seekers - making munitions smart

Beyond early warning, Elbit Systems of America's family of advanced seekers provides exceptional performance in keeping our troops safe. The Precision Semi-active Laser and Multi-mode seekers are designed for smart munitions such as the as Laser JDAM, Laser Small Diameter Bomb and GRIFFIN. Deployed in all current theaters of operation, the seekers can increase detection range and are highly effective against static and high-speed moving targets.

Keeping the pilots flying - aircraft modernization and sustainment

In addition to delivering airpower capabilities is the need for aircraft modernization, the integration of advanced solutions and innovative technologies into older aircraft. Elbit Systems of America provide modernization solution as well as contractor logistics support for small and large aircraft.

As the Type-Certificate holder for the C/RC-26, Elbit Systems of America provides aircraft modernization, sustainment, and worldwide contractor logistics support to the C/RC-26 to include Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance - Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) avionics upgrades to meet FAA and EASA mandates and requirements through 2030.

Elbit Systems of America will also feature an advanced cockpit station to address the aircraft equipment obsolescence issues and increasing aircrew mission effectiveness. Elbit Systems of America's advanced cockpit systems include cutting edge mission processors, flight management systems and large area displays designed to increase the aircrew situational awareness and safety. For decades, Elbit System of America has supplied avionics for customers worldwide optimizing tactical situation displays, processing advanced applications, and providing high definition formats for advanced sensor video presentations to improve situational awareness.
