Educational Webcast Focuses on "When to Use" and "How to Select" Amplifiers to Maximize Circuit Performance

The third in Analog Devices' 12-part online training series, 'Fundamentals of Designing with Semiconductors for Signal Processing Applications,' airs March 9.

NORWOOD, Mass.-- Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a world leader in semiconductors for high-performance signal processing applications, will air its Beyond the Op Amp webcast on March 9, 2011 at 12:00 pm EST. This 60 minute webcast is the third in a monthly, 12-part educational series by Analog Devices called the "Fundamentals of Designing with Semiconductors for Signal Processing Applications."

Webcast Summary
While operational amplifiers are the most common signal chain building block, there are many other amplifiers especially designed for extracting signals in difficult environments and preparing the best possible signal for presentation to the ADC. This webcast will explain when to use and how to select the following types of amplifiers and drivers to maximize circuit performance: difference amplifiers, instrumentation amplifiers, logarithmic amplifiers, ADC drivers and other specialized amplifiers.

Who Should Attend
Engineers and students new to the field as well as those more experienced engineers looking for a refresher on amplifier specifications and selection will find this Webcast very useful.

The Presenter
David Kress, Director of Technical Marketing, Analog Devices, Inc. is a veteran analog applications engineer with over 30 years experience.
