IBBI is a purchasing cooperative founded by a group of independent boat builders. Eastman was selected as the vendor of choice for CNC cutting equipment.Â
Eastman cutting systems are engineered with an industrial design for rigorous production cutting of nested pattern pieces from a range of materials common to the marine industry. Technical composite materials used in the boat building process, like fiberglass, can be cut consistent speed and accuracy alongside performance fabrics used in marine tops and covers such as polycarbonate, stamoid, clear vinyl, Sunbrella® and marine-grade boat carpeting.
