Eastern Bearings, Inc, a leading supplier of bearing, power transmission, pneumatics, and motion control components and engineering services has unveiled a new name and a new website by rebranding itself to Eastern Industrial Automation (E.I.A.) and launching Easternia.com

Founded in 1963 by Richard Gorsey, Eastern Bearings, Inc., began as a supplier of bearings and power transmission solutions by personally delivering mechanical components to the many textile mills peppering New England. Forty-six years later, Gorsey and his son-in-law, Geoff Filker, Principal, oversee Eastern Industrial Automation. Today, Eastern Industrial Automation serves a worldwide market, while simultaneously operating a subsidiary company in China known as Shanghai Motion Control Technology Co. Ltd.

Eastern Industrial Automation represents over 1,000 manufacturers while supplying a worldwide base of customers with over 1 million specific mechanical components, bearings, pneumatic, motion control, and other industrial automation products.

As a capstone to their recent re-branding, the company has also launched a newly re-designed and optimized web presence in the form of Easternia.com. According to representatives at E.I.A, the goal of the website is to more effectively serve their worldwide audience."

As company Director of Sales and Marketing, Drew Tucci explains, "The time has come to expand our customer reach and demonstrate our global capabilities."

With a foundation built around the company's core service areas, ranging from high precision bearings, seals, high grade greases and lubricants, pneumatic components, linear, seals, and bearings to linear motion control components and engineering services, Eastern Industrial Automation plans to use the new site as both a full-service global sales presence as well as an interactive communications hub.

Filker continues, "Over the years we've continued to grow exponentially. Naturally, that now means we need a bigger and better website that more effectively reaches and serves new and existing customers." He explains, "Our expertise, service, and our ability to help our customers improve their performance and bottom line have always been key focuses at Eastern Industrial Automation. Our new web presence enhances those abilities even more."
