EAO's 2011 Expands HMI Systems Development
Milford, CT - EAO Switch Corporation of Milford, CT USA, a premier global supplier
of Human Machine Interface (HMI) Components and Systems, announces important expansions in 2011 to meet customer needs. These include a final test and assembly facility, and additional field service and engineering personnel who will focus on HMI Systems development.
EAO now offers final test and assembly capabilities at their Milford, CT facility. This means EAO can accommodate small runs in-house, saving the customer turnaround time. EAO can work with a customer from the design stage through assembly using the customer's CAD files. Knowledge of application requirements, combined with vast market expertise, allow EAO to serve many industry segments including machinery, medical, transportation, lifting and moving, specialty vehicles, and more.
As part of their expansion, EAO will be hiring new personnel to better meet customer demands for HMI Components and Systems. A Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the management of key OEM relationships, independent manufacturers' representatives, and authorized distributors. A new Field Applications Engineer will be responsible for interpreting and understanding customer applications, drawings, and schematics guiding customers toward selection of proper EAO products, and complete HMI Systems. An Assembly Technician will provide world class electro-mechanical assembly services with a primary focus on satisfying EAO's customers, distributors, and manufacturers' representatives. EAO representatives guide customers in meeting electrical/electronic design, industrial and ergonomic design, software/interface design, mechanical design, and wire harness design specifications.
