Dynapower Corporation Acquires iTherm Technologies
iTherm Technologies is pleased to announce it has joined forces with Dynapower Corporation, a global leader in power conversionsystems located in South Burlington, Vermont. The move supports iTherm's commitment to continued growth and development in the field of induction heating, power supply design and advanced control systems. Founded in 1963, Dynapower is the world's largest independent manufacturer of power conversion equipment with products recognized for their quality, reliability and value. Dynapower's vertically integrated design and manufacturing facility currently produces a complete family of products including high power inverters, frequency converters, SCR, Switchmode and Chopper Rectifier Systems and an array of transformer technologies for a wide variety of industrial and research applications.
iTherm's design team and manufacturing resources have been integrated within Dynapower's corporate headquarters allowing the combined resources of both organizations to maximize the growth of iTherm's HIG technology. Our new facility includes 150,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space including a new induction heating laboratory. iTherm will become ISO 9001 certified within Dynapower Corporation's Quality Management System scheduled for certification in December of 2010.
