Bristol, PA – DUNMORE Corporation, announces today the completion of its expanded Global Aerospace team, initiated 2 years ago. The expansion has included Customer Service, Sales, Engineering and Research Development. Art Mallett, Jr., who served as the business development executive leading DUNMORE’s growth in the market has been promoted to Director, Global Aerospace. “Art is a recognized expert across the industry for helping our aerospace customers solve thermal management and protection challenges,” remarked Executive Vice President Tom Rimel.

DUNMORE’s Global Aerospace team has expanded the organization's already extensive product portfolio with the creation of more than 50 new part numbers for the aircraft (http://www.dunmore.com/products/aircraft.html) and spacecraft (http://www.dunmore.com/products/spacecraft.html) markets over the past 12 months. Additionally, nearly one quarter of those items are new product developments engineered to solve specific aircraft or spacecraft manufacturing needs. The formation of the Global Aerospace team is an acknowledgment of DUNMORE’s value to its customers and a commitment to the development of engineered films and laminates for aircraft and spacecraft markets worldwide.

DUNMORE, a long time supplier to the aircraft and satellite industry, has been adding additional R&D resources to improve and develop materials solutions for the industry. DUNMORE has established a Technical Service team that aligns with aerospace customers to complete product testing and characterization on more than 400 products offered by DUNMORE in this market. "We have just added a second technical service scientist to support materials testing and qualification of these specialized materials," noted Mallett. DUNMORE has continued to develop internal analytical testing capability by adding new testing equipment and continuing to develop a network of industry testing partners.

According to Mallett, "This expanded team located in the USA and Europe will give us the capability to service our global customers regionally while closely monitoring product performance and offering new innovations." DUNMORE has manufacturing locations in the USA and Germany to support the Aerospace community worldwide.
