DMP 1142 Wireless Two-button Transmitter Receives UL Holdup Alarm Listing

Springfield, Missouri- March 2, 2007 - Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) of Springfield, Missouri, a leading U.S. manufacturer of alarm control panels, has received the UL636 Holdup Alarm Units and Systems listing for the 1142 Two-Button Holdup Transmitter. Specifically designed for installation under the counter, the UL636-listed 1142 is a powerful solution for transmitting silent alarms in retail, banking, and institutional applications. The belt-clip version, 1142BC, meets the UL 1023 Household Burglar Alarm System Units Accessory standard.

Model 1142 includes an external tamper and must be mounted on a surface. The Two-way Wireless panic is compatible with the XRSuper6, XR20, XR40 Command Processor(TM) Panels using the 1100D Wireless Receiver or the XR100 and XR500 Series control panels using the 1100X Wireless Receiver. To decrease the risk of false alarms, both of the 1142 buttons must be pressed simultaneously. A built-in Survey LED verifies Two-way transmission for single-person installations. Both units will commence shipping on Monday, March 5, 2007.

"The UL stamp of approval once again demonstrates our unyielding commitment to the highest standards of safety and reliability in all our products," said DMP Vice President of Sales Gary Kallman. "The advantages of our Two-way wireless supervision are well known among installers and end-users. The 1142 adds another valuable security option for wireless or hybrid systems."

DMP offers a complete line of Two-way wireless sensors, key fobs, panic buttons and receivers for intrusion and fire detection systems.
