DME Takes No. 2 Spot in National Quality Survey
Quality Leadership 100 Ranking Demonstrates Value Driven by Employee Commitment
Madison Heights, Mich. –– DME Company, a leading provider of mold technologies to the plastics processing industry, has earned the No. 2 ranking in the 2013 Quality Leadership 100 Survey.
DME jumped 28 spots on the list this year, coming in just behind Ford. Quality Magazine evaluated over 400 companies on a variety of quality measures that affect profitability and company value. DME’s Leadership Team was quick to credit employees for the high ranking against the world’s top-performing companies.

According to Quality, the companies were evaluated on several criteria, including :
Continuous improvement and internal quality programs in place,
Contribution of quality to profitability and shareholder value,
Average number of hours monthly that employees receive quality training,
Scrap and rework as a percentage sales,
Warranty costs as a percentage of sales, and
Registration to various standards such as ISO.
