Digisonics Appoints New Vice President of Operations


Digisonics, a leading provider of PACS and Structured Reporting Software Solutions, today announced that it appointed Sue Maisey as its new Vice President of Operations.



In her role as Digisonics Vice President of Operations, she will oversee the day-to-day operations from product and project management to clinical applications.



Prior to Digisonics, Maisey was employed for 17 years by Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, one of the top rated and nationally recognized hospitals in the Houston area. At St. Luke's, she served as the Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology/Arrhythmia Center and Cardiology Education (Cardiology Fellowship Program), managing Echo, TEE, Vascular, Treadmill, EKG, Holter, Pacemaker Clinic and LinQ and Tilt procedures. As Director, Maisey was responsible for reviewing and approving budgets, overseeing the operations of the clinical departments, and ensuring high patient satisfaction and efficiency.  She has been actively involved for over 17 years with the Greater Houston Society of Echocardiography.  The Local Echo Society provides education and networking opportunities to the Greater Houston area.



Maisey is also a well-known national educator. She has spoken at the American Society of Echocardiography and Echo Boot Camp for Texas Heart Institute.    She has been a reviewer for IAC - Intersocietal Accreditation of Echo Labs since 1998.  Maisey is committed and dedicated to helping new clinical students who are interested in cardiac ultrasound.  She is affiliated with the local ultrasound schools and in fact serves as faculty as well as an Advisory Board Member.



Maisey received a Bachelor of Business Management and Master's degree in Business Administration from LeTourneau University in 2003 and 2005 respectively.
