Devcon and Permatex Industrial Form an MRO Powerhouse

DANVERS, MA - Devcon, a world leader in compounds and products for plant and equipment maintenance, repair, overhaul, and protection, will merge with the industrial products group of Permatex, a Connecticut-based producer of gasket cements, threadlocking adhesives, lubricants, hand cleaners, and other products for the industrial MRO market. Both Devcon and Permatex are Illinois Tool Works companies and are part of ITW Performance Polymers group. Under the new arrangement, Devcon will market products under both the Devcon and Permatex brand names.
