Despatch Industries Receives Order for 120MW of Production Tools from Chinese Solar Manufacturer


Minneapolis, Minn., U.S.A. - Despatch Industries, a leading technology and equipment provider for the solar industry, announces the recent order of 120MW of production tools from a Chinese integrated solar cell and module manufacturer. The customer is purchasing four of Despatch's recently upgraded dryer and firing furnaces.

Despatch recently developed an upgrade package for its popular dryer and firing furnace to achieve even better performance. One feature element of the new package is the Thermal Response Improvement upgrade. This element offers over fifty percent improvement in thermal stability for varying loads. The package also includes Soft Start which allows the tool to utilize an intelligent, controlled start-up to significantly reduce peak power costs. Cooling monitoring, E-stop monitoring and notification, independent top and bottom airflow and an AC Drive Motor round out the rest of the firing furnace upgrade package.
