Deitz Company Invests in CNC Machining to Automate Packaging Machinery Parts Production

75% Faster than Manual, ProtoMAX Supports PharmafillTM Lead Times

Wall, NJ: Packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), has added the ProtoMAX abrasive waterjet CNC cutting machine to its lineup of equipment for manufacturing the company's PharmafillTM line of filling and packaging machines. Purchased to help meet intense demand for the company's Pharmafill NB1 tamper-evident neck bander, the new, automated cutting machine is to speed production of precision parts by 75 percent versus manual production for faster machine building and support for lead times.

Sales of the company's NB1 neck banding machine have been increasing by 100 percent or more annually since 2016 due to their ease of use and dependable operation, according to Deitz Company President John Deitz. Designed to comply with both FDA and GMP requirements, the neck bander automatically applies tamper-evident neck bands and full sleeve labels to bottles, jars, vials, metal tins and other containers in a wide range of sizes and round, squared and tapered shapes.

The company designs and manufactures all of its filling and packaging machinery at its New Jersey headquarters. Tours of the facility and demonstrations using the new cutting machine are offered by appointment.
