DE-STA-CO to Showcase a Wide Variety of Workholding and Automation Solutions at WESTEC 2007
Auburn Hills, Michigan, January 4, 2007 - DE-STA-CO's 2000 series of Horizontal Handle Hold-Down Action Clamps will be displayed in the company's booth at WESTEC 2007. This latest generation of manual toggle clamps will be showcased along with the DE-STA-CO Toggle-Lock Plus Manual Clamp Series, RZA Table-Top Linear Thruster Slide and DPQ Parallel Gripper. DE-STA-CO will be located in booth #4344 at WESTEC, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from March 26 - 29.
The 2013, 2017, 2027, and 2037 series of DE-STA-CO's Horizontal Handle Hold-Down Action Clamps deliver 60% more holding capacity than DE-STA-CO's legacy models in the same envelope. Maximum holding capacities range from 295 to 1680 pounds, ensuring applicability across a wide range of operational demands. Additionally, the unique patented design prevents spindle slippage and provides increased hand clearance in the open position, improving ergonomics and safety.
The DPW Parallel Gripper Series from DE-STA-CO Robohand feature DirectConnect(TM) technology and offer mounting patterns in three sizes with two strokes per size. Like all products incorporating DirectConnect, the mounting patterns allow the components to be mounted directly to other modular automation products without adapter plates, saving time, weight, and money. The wide body parallel grippers also come with a wide range of options and accessories, including multiple air port locations, a shaft wiper option, and magneto resistive or inductive sensors.
Visitors to booth #4344 will also see DE-STA-CO Robohand's RZA Table-Top Linear Thruster Slide, a precision slide ideal for high-speed applications requiring precise movement and accuracy. This device offers an unparalleled cost-to-performance ratio due to a variety of features. A recirculating ball bearing guidance system offers friction free, silent motion and longer bearings maintain load capacity over the full length of strokes. The RZA Table-Top Linear Thruster Slide is also capable of mounting and operating in any orientation and is available in five bore sizes. Other standard features include shock absorbers, extend/retract stoppers, and through-hole mounting.
