Designed to address a wide range of sealing applications in kitchens and baths, around windows, doors, trim and siding, and on concrete and masonry surfaces, the new line of project-oriented sealants includes several distinct formulations:

With the winter months approaching, it's important that homeowners take steps to ensure they are ready for the impact of seasonal change. DAP® 3.0(TM) Window, Door, Trim & Siding Sealants, which are paintable in 30 minutes, help complete these types of jobs faster and save time. In complement, the sealants are waterproof and water resistant in 30 minutes--reducing the risk of caulk jobs being ruined by treated surfaces becoming wet too early from incidental rain or water contact. The shrink and crack-proof sealants also adhere to a range of surfaces, including: wood, metal, brick, glass, vinyl, aluminum, concrete, masonry, plaster, drywall, stucco, stone and painted surfaces. Along with these features, DAP(®) 3.0(TM) can be applied in extreme temperatures ranging from 20 degrees F to 120 degrees F.
Kitchen and Bathroom Makeovers
DAP® 3.0(TM) Kitchen, Bath & Plumbing Sealants feature a 10-year mold resistant technology that utilizes MICROBAN® Antimicrobial Product Protection. MICROBAN® helps prevent the growth of mold and mildew, odor-causing bacteria and stains in high moisture areas, such as kitchens and baths, and around plumbing fixtures. DAP® 3.0(TM) can be applied to natural stone surfaces and will not leach or stain the surface. In addition, the sealants are waterproof and water resistant in 30 minutes so rooms can be back in use quickly.
Creating Curb Appeal
DAP® 3.0(TM) Self-Leveling Concrete & Masonry Sealant, a self-leveling, paintable formula, eliminates the need for tooling and is available in gray to match most concrete and masonry surfaces. The waterproof sealant can be exposed to water in three hours and cures in 24 hours, unlike polyurethane sealants that require up to seven days. The sealant also withstands foot and vehicle traffic after fully curing. As a result, the sealant is ideal for filling and sealing horizontal cracks in sidewalks, concrete driveways, above-ground foundations, patios, concrete steps, garage floors and other concrete surfaces.
Better Than Silicone
Along with these features, DAP® 3.0(TM) comes in a clear formulation that results in a crystal-clear finish for improved clarity. The beauty of the treated surface shines through the sealant, while silicone sealants tend to result in an opaque finish. The new sealants are easier to apply and tool than silicone sealants, which can be stringy.
