Dallas Industries Delivers Feed Lines to Tru Form Manufacturing

Troy, MI - Dallas Industries (www.dallasindustries.com), a leading manufacturer of coil handling, press feeding equipment and controls for the stamping industry has announced that Tru Form Manufacturing LLC, Dickson, TN has taken delivery of two new Dallas Industries BackLoop SpaceSaver™ Compact Feed Lines. Tru Form manufactures progressive-die stampings, provides robotic and resistance gas-metal-arc welding, and produces automated assemblies for a variety of industries.

One of the two new lines is 36 in. wide, the other is 48 in. wide. Each is rated for handling coil weights up to 20,000 lb. Both are outfitted with automated coil guides, SyncLoop, and hydraulic peeler/threader/coil restrictor with 3M Synthetic Fiber Wheel for maximum grip during threading and rewinding. They each have servo feeds with 7 roll pull-thru straighteners. The pull thru straighteners have a Toggle-Lock roll lift feature to lift all upper straightener rolls during pilot release, as well as ProfileSelect and dual roll-edge guides with self-centering and independent adjustment.

Dallas Industries’ BackLoop SpaceSaver™ feed lines can have a footprint as short as 20 ft. featuring servo feeds with pull-thru straighteners and heavy-duty drives. They have the power to handle materials up to 1/4 in. thick safely while maintaining accurate feed tolerances. The line features ProfileSelect™, a unique feed control system that is exclusively available through Dallas Industries. It uses a cam-motion (sinusoidal) profile. This smooth profile results in a feed motion that utilizes 100 percent of the press feed window, reducing stress on the material and the feed’s mechanical components. Dallas Industries’ full line of products includes conventional and compact coil feed lines, as well as servo feeds, air feeds, heavy-duty straighteners and coil handling equipment.
