Dale Bohn of Flint Hill Resources Named Vice Chairman of the ASTM Board of Directors
Dale F. Bohn, product quality manager for Flint Hills Resources LP, will serve as vice chairman of the ASTM International board of directors for a two-year term.
Bohn assumed his current title at Flint Hills Resources, a leading independent refining, chemicals and biofuels company, in 2011. He oversees product quality and customer support, including development, formulations, testing and process support for petroleum and other products, as well as training, regulatory compliance and quality assurance oversight. Prior to his current role, he was Flint Hill’s northern region quality manager, and held technical leadership roles at Koch Materials Co.
An ASTM board member since 2012, Bohn served as chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee in 2015. He has been involved with the work of Committee D04 on Road and Paving Materials since joining ASTM in 1996. Bohn also works on Committees D02 on Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels, and Lubricants and D03 on Gaseous Fuels and served on the ASTM Committee on Technical Committee Operations, including a term as chairman.
Bohn holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
