Daisy Data Displays, Inc. Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Industrial Computer Company Thriving Since 1982

YORK HAVEN, PA, January 9, 2012 - Daisy Data Displays, Inc. (D3), industry leader in developing specialized and ruggedized computers, displays, and keyboards designed to endure harsh industrial and plant environments, will celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2012.

Daisy Data Displays, Inc., first known as Daisy Data Terminals, was founded in 1982 by Henry Shefet. Originally Shefet, together with a group of dedicated colleagues, designed and manufactured terminals, but then recognized a need for hazardous and industrial area operator interface. Daisy Data Terminals was renamed Daisy Data, Inc. in 1989 and then Daisy Data Displays, Inc. (D3) in 2005. While the company started in Shefet's basement, it has grown into a 70,000 square foot facility which is shared with their sister company, York Haven Fabricators. D3 has evolved from a small family-owned business to a major leading contender in the industrial and hazardous area market, with over 1000 product designs on record.

"While D3 remains a family-owned business, our growth and innovations over the last three decades are anything but small," states current President, David "Avi" Shefet to whom Henry Shefet has passed the reigns. "Our ability to respond to customer demands has helped us earn the trust of many Fortune 500 companies and the United States military."
