Custom Promotional Logistics And Fulfillment Company Sourcentra Chosen As Merchandising Partner For Ruff Ryder Hip Hop Tour
Framingham, MA - Soucentra, a leading specialist in custom and off-the-shelf stock packaging, printing and premium promotional items, is announcing that it has signed a partnership contract with Platinum Enterprises Group Services, Inc., the managing agents for the upcoming Ruff Ryders Hip Hop reunion tour. According to the terms of the partnership, Sourcentra will handle the tour's merchandising, including Ruff Ryders t-shirts, zippered hoodie sweatshirts, silicone bracelets, bandanas and other items.
The Ruff Ryders Hip Hop reunion tour, which will kick off at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena on September 7, will feature the popular artists DMX, Eve, Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek Louch, Drag-On, D-Block, Swizz Beatz and others. The tour is slated to travel through major U.S. cities through next year.
This is the first time Sourcentra will handle the merchandising for a concert tour event. Daniel Gonyea, Sourcentra's chief executive officer, says the company won the business from Platinum Enterprises through referrals and recommendations. The substantial contract will require Sourcentra to globally source and purchase hundreds of thousands of dollars in apparel and other promotional items and customize them with the Rough Ryders tour logos. Sourcentra will then ship the merchandise to the various concert venues in advance of performances, managing inventory and filling orders as needed and replenishing inventory when required. The company will work with significant time constraints, as inventory will need to be properly managed and accurately manufactured and delivered according to the needs of the tour's organizers.

Gonyea said that after the tour, Sourcentra expects to continue a merchandising relationship with many of the musicians participating in the Ruff Ryders tour, particularly those artists who do not have their own merchandising services and resources.
