Custom Metal Crafters, Inc. (CMC), an industry leader in hardware manufacturing, is proud to announce their 50th year of service to the industry. The company was established in 1972 by its founder John Bourget. What started as a custom, contract manufacturer has grown to an industry leader in the fastener market, supplying a wide variety of standard parts as well as offering options to produce custom designs. The company remains family owned and operated and is led by Dan Bourget and his sister Lynn Clemente.
Custom Metal Crafters, Inc. is a wholesale supplier to a diversified OEM market. They specialize in the design, manufacture and sourcing of buckles, snaps, slides, d-rings, loops, fasteners, ornaments, Chicago screws and specialty hardware. CMC products are used in a wide variety of industries including tent & awning, military, medical, harness, equine, pet, luggage, strap, Firefighter equipment, tool belt systems, motorcycle, and fashion. Custom Metal Crafters’ manufacturing facility and main warehouse is located in Newington, Connecticut. They also have satellite warehouses in Southern California and Washington state to service nationwide distribution needs. CMC’s products are manufactured in a variety of metals, including zinc die cast, steel and solid brass; all of which can be supplied in an assortment of finishes.
