Marshield is proud to have recently designed and manufactured custom lead shielded carriers with a transportation cart for a Canadian nuclear laboratory. This system is being used for measuring electrical potential of medical isotopes.
The 1" thick lead carriers provide storage of the isotopes with the cases being used to protect the communication wires. The cart allows for easy transportation throughout the facility. This custom radiation shielding solution guarantees significant improvements in dose reduction to test technicians within the facility as well as providing a lightweight easy to use transportation method.
