Cross Match Receives 2010 IT/USERS Awards for SEEK and L SCAN Products

Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. - Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a global provider of biometric identity solutions, today announced that IT/USERS magazine, one of Latin America's leading technology publications has selected the multimodal SEEK II as winner of the Top IT 2010 Award and the L SCAN 1000PX as the winner of the Editor's Choice Award for 2010.
Each year, IT/USERS editors identify products that demonstrate the vision, leadership and quality that distinguish them from the competition, and contribute to the significant growth of biometric solutions in the Latin American IT market. "SEEK II and the 1000PX were chosen to receive IT/USERS Product of the Year Awards for 2010 because they are at the forefront of biometric innovation. SEEK II combines fingerprint capture, dual iris scan capability and facial capture technology into a portable solution. The L SCAN 1000PX is a compact livescan system that captures fingerprints and palm prints using the same prism. Both solutions help to enhance citizen security and prevent fraud in civil programs.
