COVID-19 Update from Dorner - April 6, 2020
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented. Our thoughts go out to all who have been or will be affected by the outbreak.
Dorner is committed to providing updates as they relate to our operations while being mindful of the considerable volume of information you may be receiving at this time. Our communication plan includes a weekly email update every Monday and regular postings on a dedicated page on our website.
Key Updates for the week of April 6th:
- Dorner US: We remain open, operating as an essential business. Sales, technical customer service, and accounting are working remotely and fully operational. Manufacturing is fully operational.
- Dorner Asia: Beginning Monday, April 6th, we are operating with limited manufacturing staff. Our facility has been approved as an essential business and will be producing orders related to COVID-19. Office personnel are working remotely, and other manufacturing personnel remain on lockdown at home. The nationwide lockdown in Malaysia remains in effect until April 14th.
- Dorner Europe: Sales, technical customer service, and accounting are fully operational with most office personnel working remotely. Manufacturing employees are onsite, and production is fully operational.
- Dorner Latin America: Last week, The Ministry of Health in Mexico sent out a safer at home order that included a detailed list of essential and non-essential activities and businesses. We are considered an essential business and continuing to operate with manufacturing staff onsite. Office personnel continue to work remotely and are available to support sales, customer service, accounting and other requests.
- Product Information – FlexMove Conveyors: We continue to monitor inventory levels of FlexMove components at all locations. FlexMove orders are being reviewed on a daily basis and customers will be contacted if an order and lead time cannot be accommodated.
COVID-19 Updates
Dorner supports a variety of industries including essential businesses in food, medical, pharmaceutical, automation, and life sciences. We are doing everything we can to support the global fight against this virus including prioritizing all COVID-19 projects to the highest level possible.
