CounterBalance Corp. Names Karen Cashell Manager of Cost Accounting

NORTH VENICE, FL - January 12, 2012 - CounterBalance Corporation, a manufacturer of modular torsion spring systems used to lift lids and covers, has named Karen Cashell the Manager of Cost Accounting.
Cashell will be in charge of managing detail product costing, project cost analysis, accounts payable, inventory documentation and analysis, material prepayment discounts, travel expense reporting and procedure documentation.
"Karen's extensive manufacturing background directly compliments our accounting and inventory practices," said CounterBalance Corporation, Tim Howard. "We are delighted to welcome this talented new member to our management team."
Cashell comes to CounterBalance with thirty-five years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Most recently, Cashell worked as the Manager of Accounting and Executive Assistant at Agape Flights, a non-profit organization that transports critical supplies to missionaries in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
Prior to Agape, she worked for BESTechnologies Inc., a manufacturer of biological grease control systems for restaurants, food production facilities and municipal wastewater treatment systems, Deca Manufacturing, a manufacturer of wire harness, cable, and circuit board assemblies, and Hi-Stat Manufacturing, a manufacturer of switches and sensors.
