Cost Effective Anti-Static Electrically Conductive Latex Coating

Hackensack, NJ. December 26, 2007-Master Bond LTX-117G is low cost, electrically conductive, water-based adhesive, sealant and coating developed by Master Bond Inc., Hackensack, NJ. It is a one-part, UV stable latex adhesive where the electrical conductivity is achieved by the incorporation of non-metallic graphite filler. Master Bond Polymer System LTX-117G dries by water evaporation at ambient temperatures, to provide cost effective coatings with controlled electrical properties including use in ESD anti-static systems. It has a service temperature of -60°F to 250°F.

LTX-117G is characterized by long term viscosity stability, flexibility and good physical strength characteristics, low odor and good adhesion to a wide range of both rigid and flexible substrates. The graphite filler also features excellent oxidation resistance. The LTX-117G latex product is water soluble and does not contain any VOC solvents. Typically, water based resins will result in less environmental or regulatory control related problems. It is available in pint, quart, gallon and 5 gallon containers.
