CoorsTek Chosen by Lean Guru as Example in KAIZEN Seminar


World-renown Lean Manufacturing Guru, Mr. Masaaki Imai, to
present at one of the CoorsTek facilities in Golden, April 4, 2006.

March 22, 2006 - Golden, Colorado - Today, CoorsTek officially announced their
selection to host, along with non-profits Colorado Performance Excellence (CPEx)
and Colorado Association for Manufacturing and Technology (CAMT), an
advanced seminar titled, "How to Implement Kaizen Strategies to Improve
Performance and Results - A Sensei's Perspective."
Mr. Masaaki Imai, founder of the KAIZEN Institute and known as the "Lean Guru"
and the father of continuous improvement, will present at CoorsTek on April 4,
2006. A pioneer and world renowned leader, Imai has authored the seminal works
on KAIZEN and is a global speaker on the implementation practices of sustainable
continuous improvement.

experience walking through the CoorsTek Clear Creek Valley facility with Imai,
followed by an in-depth discussion of creating opportunities for improvement.
