Cooper Industries to Participate in Lehman Brothers Industrial Select Conference


HOUSTON, February 8, 2008 - Cooper Industries, Ltd. (NYSE:CBE) today announced it would participate in the Lehman Brothers Industrial Select Conference held in Miami Beach, Florida on Wednesday, February 13.

The presentation and comments by Cooper's Chairman and CEO Kirk Hachigian and Cooper's Senior Vice President of Corporate Development Tom O'Grady will begin at approximately 8:50 a.m. EST.

A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available in the Investor Center of the Company's website at www.cooperindustries.com under "Management Presentations." The Company recommends that listeners download and install any necessary audio software at least 15 minutes prior to the presentation. An audio replay will be available on the website through February 27, 2008.

Cooper's presentation may include references to non-GAAP financial measures.
