Readco Kurimoto Tests Materials, Formulations On-Site with Full-Size Machines
York, PA: Process equipment manufacturer Readco Kurimoto, LLC, York, Pa.(www.readco.com), has unveiled a fully equipped testing laboratory at its York, Pa. headquarters. Featuring full-size, fully operating machinery able to process up to 2,000 lbs./hr., the Readco test laboratory includes both the company's Continuous Processor for mixing multiple liquid, powdered and/or viscous materials in a single step, and the SC Processor for transforming powders into slurries and/or increasing the viscosity of slurries in a single step, along with a host of feeders, heaters and accessories. The laboratory enables the company to conduct tests that simulate actual operating conditions using customer materials and formulations to verify machinery performance meets targeted goals. Based on testing data, Readco engineers may customize the continuous processing systems to achieve pinpoint control over product uniformity, texture, color and other criteria.
To enable a variety of personnel around the world to view the laboratory testing process, the company offers to present the tests on video via a secure live stream. The Web-based live stream may be accessed by private login. The testing laboratory is open for free tours by appointment.
