Fort Lauderdale - August 4, 2009 - Don Ascione, President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Chemical USA (CCUSA) announced further details today about his company's recent appointment as exclusive, worldwide master distributor for Fossil Chemicals, LLC. Fossil, the Weatherford, TX manufacturer of custom blended chemicals utilized in the oil and gas industry, recently selected CCUSA to market and sell its frac fluids, bacteria and control chemicals and it's "ground breaking" liquid KCL substitute worldwide.
Today, Ascione revealed the details of his plan to create a worldwide network of 34 sub-distributors including 8 in the United States, 2 in Mexico, one for the Caribbean Basin, 5 in South America, 6 in Europe, 3 in Africa, 6 in Asia and 1 for Australia. Mr. Lou Smida, General Manager of Sales feels confident of his ability to identify qualified candidates to fill these positions within the next 3 months. According to Smida, the products manufactured by Fossil are utilized at every oil and gas well in the world and Smida is receiving a huge number of inquiries every day from enthusiastic prospective sub-distributors.
