Containment Solutions Expands Product Sales into Canada November 2006
Containment Solutions, Inc. (CSI) - a leading manufacturer of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) underground storage tanks in the USA - will begin selling tanks into Canada November 1, 2006.
"We are excited about our expansion into the Canadian marketplace," says Ron Shaffer, VP of Marketing for Containment Solutions. "We've had numerous inquiries about CSI product availability in Canada and now we can offer our neighbors a choice when specifying FRP underground storage tanks. We will begin to book orders in November and look forward to sending our first tanks to Canada in early 2007."
Since 1965, over 300,000 FRP underground storage tanks utilizing an automated process pioneered by Owens Corning and continued by Containment Solutions have been sold in the US and around the world. Today, FRP tanks have become a well-recognized and well-accepted part of fuel storage systems for major petroleum marketers. CSI has played a big part in FRP acceptance with a number of improvements and innovations since 1995 when they purchased the assets and technology of the Owens Corning Tank Division.
CSI will offer single, double and triple wall tank configurations ranging from 600 to 50,000 gallons (2,000 to 190,000 liters). In addition, a complete line of compartment tanks, oil water separators and related accessories will be offered to provide a complete underground storage system.
