Composiflex Announces Registration of FlexPLY® Trademark for High Performance, Advanced Composite Springs
FlexPLY® trademark has been assigned to Composiflex and registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
ERIE, PA (March 4, 2009) - - Composiflex, global supplier of highly-engineered composite products, announces the registration of its FlexPLY® trademark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. This mark will be used to brand the company's line of high performance composite springs. It will also allow customers to clearly define their spring component specifications by using the trademarked brand name in procurement descriptions.
Composiflex is a market-leading supplier of flat composite springs, commonly used on vibratory material handling equipment. FlexPLY® springs provide superior fatigue life, particularly under high frequency loading, as proven by accelerated comparison testing with competitive materials. Composiflex lays up and processes its own spring material, resulting in consistent quality and performance properties. Original spring stiffness is maintained within a very close tolerance, even after many millions of high frequency cycles, translating to dependable long-term performance of the equipment on which they are installed. FlexPLY® springs are available in E-glass/epoxy, carbon/epoxy, and high temperature glass/epoxy materials.
