Columbia Steel Promotes John Maguire to Product Engineering Manager of Shredder Group
PORTLAND, OR – Columbia Steel is pleased to announce that John Maguire has accepted the position of Shredder Product Engineering Manager.
Maguire joined Columbia Steel in 2008 as a member of the company’s shredder wear part design team. He later worked in the gyratory crusher group, before moving into his current management position.
“John’s years of engineering experience, close attention to detail, and advocacy for his customers made him the ideal choice to take over our shredder group after Greg Stegmaier accepted the position of Columbia Steel Product Engineering Director,” said Chad Rathke, Columbia’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “I am thrilled with the work that John has done so far and look forward to seeing where he can take us in the future.”
Greg Stegmaier adds that Maguire’s “combined experience in both shredder and crusher engineering will make him an excellent product manager.” Columbia Steel is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, USA. The 86-acre facility is home to an on-site product design and engineering department and full-service steel casting foundry.
