Accuracy means that the valve will deliver the right flow at the right pressure at the right time, and then provide a leak-free stop to the flow within milliseconds. Superior reliability means it will do all that equally well throughout millions of cycles. Because it is pressure-balanced, the co-ax® valve operates very smoothly, very reliably and extremely fast. The control tube is controlled with either a coil/armature or a piston, and is equipped with a purpose-specific return spring. The spring provides the functional redundancy which is necessary if the plant loses power, air or hydraulic fluid, or when the valve is installed in an environment that is prone to severe vibration, unexpected back pressure events, etc.
