Cleaver-Brooks Announces ASHE Show Line up

Media and attendees invited to learn more about how Cleaver-Brooks supports hospital steam generation needs July 8-11

MILWAUKEE - June 28, 2007 - Maintaining sustained power sources and sterile environments while maximizing efficiency are top priorities for health care facilities. Cleaver-Brooks understands these key issues and has designed new products that will be showcased in Cleaver-Brooks booth 1021 at the ASHE 44th Annual Conference and Technical Exhibition in New Orleans this July. Those include the Hawk ICS integrated control system, the Spraymaster model deaerator featuring the Advanced Deaerator Control System and the CFC Clearfire boiler.

"With a continued push for increased efficiency and reduced emissions, customers are forced to find new products to satisfy their needs," says Earle Pfefferkorn, president of C-B Package Boiler. "Products like the ClearFire, Hawk ICS and Spraymaster are part of our commitment to driving a new generation of high-efficiency boilers and burners that help customers achieve measurable performance improvements."

The Hawk ICS, an integrated control system, maximizes efficiency, reduces operating costs and increases productivity, delivering critical information with the touch of a screen or remotely using its Ethernet capabilities. Integrating the Hawk ICS into a boiler system can save 4.4 percent on cost.

The Spraymaster model deaerator extends boiler and steam system life while increasing boiler system efficiency by preventing corrosion of boiler surfaces, steam and condensate piping, and reducing boiler blowdown losses.

Standards tank sizes are available in 260 to 2,485 gallon with load capacities from 7,000 to 280,000 pph Cleaver-Brooks deaerators are offered with a choice of flexible control schemes, including the Advanced Deaerator Control system featuring an Allen Bradley Compact Logix PLC, variable frequency drive, soft start, color touch screen, remote communications, automatic pump alerting system and seamless interface with building automation systems.

The CFC ClearFire Boiler produces noise emissions of less than 70dBA, making it ideal for schools, office buildings, hospitals, nursing homes or anywhere noise levels are an issue. It is CSA certified and comes in sizes ranging from 750 MBtuh to 1,800 MBtuh. Utilizing a premix burner with a metal fiber head, the CFC model provides NOx emissions of less than 20 ppm, significantly lower than the industry average of 62 ppm.

Celebrating their 75th anniversary, Cleaver-Brooks is a world-renowned provider of boiler room products and systems that outperform and outlast the competition. Selling to both the commercial and industrial markets, they are the only manufacturer offering an entire integrated boiler room system. Their products are backed by a world-class distribution network offering superior aftermarket support. Visit.www.cleaver-brooks.com for more information.
