New eyelet machine installation provides custom bag manufacturer with unique capabilities
Albany, NY – Clear View Bag has recently installed a new Model 83 Segal Metal Eyelet machine which will be in full production on May 1, 2015. With the addition of the eyelet machine, Clear View Bag is now one of the only manufacturing plastic bag companies in the country able to provide a metal eyelet plastic bag.Â
Adding metal eyelets to poly bags gives users a professional and upscale look while providing extra strength to hangholes. Eyelets are most often requested for bottom load header bags. As opposed to heavier grommets, the lighter eyelet is one brass circle inserted into the hang hole which then crimps onto itself, grasping the poly bag and surrounding the hanghole.
